How hard is it to book AKV as a non-owner?

I made a ressie today for a standard view at BWV for next March. I plan on switching it at the 7 month window for AKV. I know Concierge is hard to book, but what about the other views? I'm looking for a one bedroom and would probably prefer a value view.

I don't know if this helps, but I called today and booked a Standard view 2 BR for 2/1 - 2/6 (we own at AKV). They had both value and standard 2BRs and studios available, I did not ask about the 1BR. I was surprised since I had expected to be told there was no availability. I guess it just depends on the week. I'm actually hoping to switch over to VWL at 7 months. Its worth a try.

SSR is our home resort...we've done it twice now:

1) Called last month & got a studio for Sunday July 27...we decided to stay there one night before checking into BCV on July 28.

2) Last year, we were able to get a studio for Christmas Week 2007 (Dec. 20-26).

I had no problem booking a standard room 5 months prior, plus I had to change that reservation last January to accommodate a cruise and booked a one night reservation with only a 2 month notice. Both times I had a studio standard view.

Although I'm not sure about a 1 BR, I'm on the waitlist for a value studio in October. Both savannah and standard studios were available for the time I wanted. From my experience, I'm thinking values may be as hard to book as the BWV standard view. I hope that's not true, but it seems to be.
