How fast do you think Disney reacts with new mask guidelines?

I would definitely be cancelling if my son wouldn't be fully vaccinated for our July trip. However, I don't know if I will feel comfortable without a mask in a tight ride sitting elbow to elbow with complete filthy strangers who probably didn't even wash their hands. So, I might be wearing a mask in those cases anyway.
Way to assume all strangers are filthy....

But, lol, didn’t you pack into the exact same bud full of “filthy strangers that didn’t wash their hands” at Disney all the time before Covid?

Yeah, screw those people who face a new situation and react differently, am I right? I mean, when the Highway department closes one of the lanes on my commute, I just drive straight through it, because that’s what I’ve done every day for the previous 10 years.

I think alot of people are so used to the lockdowns and covid that they almost dont want things to go back to normal (these are the same people who GOT the vaccine but still wear masks and stay home)

My opinion, for whatever it's worth and I know I am NOT alone, is that IF you choose to be vaccinated (and it's Emergency Use Auth, NOT FDA appoved), but IF you made that decision, then in theory you believe it works and there is no reason to care if people around you are not vaxxed or not wearing masks. Unfortunately, this past year has shown how divided people can become from fear mongering and 24 hour media hysteria. It's truly frustrating to see the effects of all of it over the past year and change and particularly how trusting too many people are in govt and the media. I have older parents (82 and 76) and I have visited them twice out of state in the past year because they are my parents. My kids had been in school mask optional since August 2020 with NO major issues (unfortunately no extra-curriculars either), and besides no proof of casual spread and no proof that masks work (they don't), this world is upside down and folks have no idea what we have all lost in the process.

Yes, and I had been more able to deal with it before. I had told myself that what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I can be OCD about things, and it definitely runs in my family. My grandmother used to wash her hands so frequently and hard that they would bleed:scared1: However, covid has put me at about my limit. I am coping and will cope at the theme parks, but I will be thinking about that filthy person next to me for sure. It may be my teenage son:sad2:

The singular of data is not “anecdote”

At this point IMHO it’s all about your personal comfort level

I’m fully vaccinated but honestly even though masks protect others just as much if not more so than the wearer I’m choosing to stay masked in indoor public spaces and in large outdoor crowds

but you do you no judgment

Disney would be wise to remove mask requirement today for the long weekend however they can expect huge crowds if they do.
The parks are all at capacity for the next several days. Then it appears mostly only Epcot is available for just annual passholders the month of June. They would have to increase capacity even more. I don't see them increasing capacity and doing away totally with masks all at once. I do think they may do away with masks on outdoor rides next. Then possibly inside resorts if you are three feet away from those not in your party, like wear them on an elevator. It gets to the point where we have to decide to "come out of the cave" or not, as I have heard it referred to. Vaccinations are slowly going up. In this country, Covid cases are slowly coming down. Hospitalizations and deaths are slowly coming down. I don't think Covid will ever go away completely, just be managed by vaccines and better treatments. As with all things in life, we have to weigh the risks against the benefits.

Easing back into normal would definitely be a happy medium to give people more “freedom “ while still providing the “safety measures” promised to people who booked months out
