How far out to cancel DDP for one member of the party?

We're arriving at AKV on 11/10 and H (no D) just announced he doesn't know if he can join us or not. I am not in the mood for last-minute changes (there will be BIG changes to the plans if he doesn't come and becomes a girls-only trip, lots of plans were made around Mr. Picky Grumpy Pants) I've half a mind to tell him that I have to cancel him by Saturday (2 weeks out), but just want to be sure that is somewhat close to the truth.

I don't think you'll have a problem 2 weeks out. Have fun regardless! He'll miss out!
