I stayed there once 20 years ago when it was Paradise Pier, I just don't remember the walk.

It's not bad.. you can cut through GCH and use their entrance into Downtown Disney.
Just a heads up, the line for Securty can be reallllly bad from that hotel to the DLR

So the OP poster, I'd just walk from the hotel to the the Disneyland hotel entrance and walk downtown Disney

Good idea but it often isn't operating in the early morning or evening.
That's what I find so irritating. I can understand the monorail not running during the fireworks, but last time I stayed at the DL hotel in 2018, I only road it 3 times in 4 days. They would shut it down if the weather was too hot.

It doesn't have A/C.

According to the WDW peeps, at Disneyland it is considered an attraction and not a mode of transportation.

It’s about a mile to the entrance of Disneyland Park if walking through Downtown Disney.
Not that it makes a huge difference, but it's about 3/4mi. Google estimates it at 0.7mi (leaving from the back of Pixar Pier), and that's through the DLH entrance to DTD - it'd be a little shorter through the new entrance.

Not quite...PPH door to DL gate is .50 miles on shortest route if you go to DLH and through DTD.

Now, add meandering through DTD shops, WOD, and Starbucks on you way in and you could easily stretch that to a mile +

For my family the walk from PP to the Disneyland entrance is 20-25 minutes. I think it depends on how fast you walk, and if you have strollers etc. Also the time of day. DTD can be very crowded, which slows you down.

No distances listed on here, but for what it is worth, this is the map the lovely cast member at the front desk drew for me when we checked in to Pixar Place Hotel in August. You can see the routes she recommended taking to both parks.

I never wanted to pay the price for Pixar and have it be so far away compared to a hotel on Harbor with a quick walk. However, we stayed at Pixar in August and loved the hotel and the walk was pleasant since you are walking through the resort area most of the time.
