How far of a walk from Beach Club to Boardwalk?

Is it all in the same area? I was just wondering how long the walk is over to the Boardwalk areas at nighttime? Anything else not to miss at Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk area??

It's all in the same area, and at a leisurely stroll it would take 10 minutes from the BC to the Boardwalk Inn. I love to walk from the Beach Club around the Boardwalk at night, it's a great option instead of going into a park.

Just a leisurly stroll around the boardwalk. Nice walk after dinner or in the evening for Epcot fireworks. We enjoy stopping to watch street performers or try our hand at a couple of games along the way. We Love the walk!

The actual walk from BC to BW is probably only 5 minutes. Its really close. Of course this depends on which end of BC you are at and which end of BW you want to go to.

Anything not to miss? Nothing special - just take in the sights. In the evening there are buskers out entertaining on the BW that some folks like to stop and watch.

I would say it's no more then a 5 minute walk. Just make sure when you leave the Beach Club that you turn left and start walking towards the International Gateway and then go up the ramp when getting to the Boardwalk, because it's a bit faster then walking past the Yacht Club, Swan & Dolphin.

Yes, I admit I'm just replying because I'm so happy to "see" another DISer from Manitoba!

Yeah for you!! we have 21 more sleeps before we get to stroll the boardwalk.. we are looking forward to the "snow" at the magic kingdom. Something tells me that there will be plenty of the real kind here before you go! We luckily missed this am's flurry!

I would agree that if you are walking at a leisurely pace, it takes about 10 minutes, depending on where on the BW you are going to. I've made the walk back and forth to the pizza window quite a few times from BC (the Marketplace flatbreads are OK, but they just aren't pizza to me), and the pizza is always plenty hot when I get it back to the room.

If you are at the end of BC closest to YC, and it's still early enough, it might be just as close to walk to the dock and take the boat over. The Epcot boat goes directly from BC/YC to BW before heading to Epcot.

Thanks everyone!! Your advice has been awesome. We actually just lost the Beach Club and they are rechecking availability. Renting points is a tricky business - I rented one other time and the same thing happened after we chose our resort. Based on all your comments regarding the Beach Club I may just book through Disney but was hoping to save a little money if I could.
