Hi yall,
I am wondering how far of a drive it is from Vistana Villages to the actually parks? I am assuming you would have to take I-4 to get there? I-4 can be really hairy....at any time of day. Anyone who has stayed; did you enjoy your stay? I have the opportunity to get %50 off of my stay due to a Starwood credit card offer I received last fall. I have a certificate that I can use at any Starwood property and I thought maybe this might be a good place. I have never been there so I know nothing about it but it seems to get good reviews.

thanks for all/any help,

You don't have to take I4 to get to the parks. You can leave Vistana Villages and head toward 536, I believe. It should not take more than 15 minutes or so to get to the parks. We drove by Vistana Villages several times on our trip last month. It's on International Drive, about 5 minutes from the intersection of 535/536. I would think that they would be able to give you directions at the resort. We have not stayed there, but we've seen the model units, and the resort. It looks beautiful. I've read that it is a great place to stay, and I believe my neighbors own there and love it.

We stayed there a couple years ago and found the trips to and from the parks to be very easy. 10 to 15 minutes to all parks. It is a great property. We sure miss the old Hotel Kingdom rates that used to be available. We never used the bus service that was offered from this resort to the parks.

It is 10 minutes to Downtown Disney. I stayed there last Easter in a one bedroom and it is a lovely resort. Pool was very nice. We really enjoyed it.:earsgirl:
