How Far Of A Drive Is Daytona Beach From Wdw?

I consider myself "geographically challenged"! Can someone please tell me driving time from WDW to Daytona Beach. Thinking of doing a day trip while we are there.

It's about 45 min. to 1 hr. depending on traffic. So is Cocoa Beach. We've been to both. Ask the Concierge desk for directions and they will give you detailed directions and a map! We usually only spend about 3-4 hours at the beach because it gets SUPER hot out there!

Daytona isnt that far and is a great day trip. I did Daytona this past trip and also did Clearwater beach. Clearwater took me about 1.5hrs to get there from Kissimmee. It is a much nicer beach and great to swim and bake in the sun. Dayona has more attractions on the beach. The day that we went there was high tide so no cars allowed on the beach which made for not as fun of a day because we were going to rent 4 wheelers.

Daytona Beach is about a 90 minute drive. It's about a 80 miles, and if you get stuck in any traffic on I-4 or over at the beach it can add another half an hour to the trip.
