How far is walk from Ship to Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay & Lighthouse Point

Hello! I am hoping to work on a few of the million calories I will be consuming by walking to Serenity Bay rather than taking the trams. Can anyone tell me how far the walk is? We get to go to both islands so I am interested in distance for both.

We walk to serenity bay from the fantasy every cruise. I haven’t officially measured it, but I would guess around a mile. It is a nice walk and a great way to get some steps in!

A rough "measure the distance" on Google maps got me to 1.3 miles from midship to Serenity Bay. I usually take the tram, but DH walks both ways every time.

You cannot walk on Lookout, a tram is required.

As mentioned, you do need to take the tram from the pier to the main area - but there's still plenty of area to walk once you get over there. Plus the pier... that everyone so lovingly talks about LOL.

Instead of your walk being a to-from, spend that time exploring the island from the shops to Serenity, and back - then walk that entire beachline too.

On our trip in December, they actually drove up to us and asked us to jump onto one of the golf carts. We were totally planning on walking, I don't think we looked like we were struggling ( LOL ) - and the kids were doing just fine. This gives you an idea of the length of the pier in a time-lapse ish type video:
