How far is Lady Lake from WDW?

My sister just got back from Florida and she's made arrangements to rent a place there from mid-October until mid-April and told me I'm more than welcome to come down and stay with her any time I want!!!!

I don't mind a bit of a drive to WDW because anything is better than being way up here in upstate New York!!

My friends parents moved from NJ to retire in Lady Lake- I believe its about 30-45 minutes north of Orlando.

Oh gosh - that's even better! I thought it was closer to an hour!!

C. Ann- it very well could be an hour but I think a bit less. My friend has never complained about the ride from her parents house to the parks and I know her parents go to California Grill pretty frequently for dinner.
At any rate, closer from where you are now!

My grandparents have stayed in Lady Lake every April for the past 4 years. They drove up to meet us at the condo we were staying at just outside of WDW a few years ago, and I think they said it was almost an hour. This was also around rush hour, though, roads were closed because of wildfires, and my grandfather drives slow. So it's not a bad commute.

We went from Lady Lake to DW in about an hour last November. Hope you enjoy your visit to The Villages, we did.
