How far in advance

I have NO idea which forum this should go in.

How far in advance do you book your trip? I don't know how far out Disney will let you book. Also, I saw what looks like pretty reasonable flight amounts, but wasn't sure if I should book this far out. We are planning on going in June 2006.

We've booked about 17 months in advance, and we've also booked less than a week in advance.

There are people here that have booked their 2007 trips!!!!!!! I typically book about 6 months to a year in advance. Our trip this coming October was booked in December of 04 and we have a March 2006 trip already planned and paid for, so I definitely do not see a problem with you starting to plan already!!!!!!!

I booked our Sept 2005 trip back in March. Depending on your budget, booking early is always best so that you can make "payments".

Then keep checking for discounts. My started out at $2300 (including dining and airfare). With free dining I am down to $1900, so now I was able to buy one extra day ticket and park hopper.

Also, for the price of 1 week of parking and gas I am now able to fly out of my own city because I kept checking the airline fares.

We are going June 10 - 17 and have already booked everything except airfare. It's not too early, go for it, and let the planning begin!

The busier the season, the greater need to book in advance to make sure you get exactly what you want. Price adjustments are always made as your date gets closer (by Disney if rates go up, by you if they go down [discount codes]).

We have our Dec. 2006 trip planned, but I haven't booked anything. I haven't truly decided between two hotels--Poly conceirge or Ft. Wilderness Cabin. I'll probably go ahead and book in Feb or March.
