Our cruise is next January. We actually need transportation from the airport to WDW then from WDW to wherever the heck the ship leaves from, then, when the cruise is over, we need to get from the dock back to the airport. So- we've decided that rather then making all kinds of transfers with rental cars etc- we're just gonna take a town car/limo. How soon should we book this? ANy recommendations as to whom we should use?

karebear1,

I would say a couple of months in advance would be fine. I booked our limo in Jan for our April cruise and last year for our March cruise I booked the limo in Feb.

Also, on another thread you asked a question about sitting at the same table with friends. I was going to answer there but forgot so I will answer here. All you have to do is call DCL or your TA and have the reservations linked. This way they will know you are traveling with other cruisers and put all of you at the same table. You can not request a specific table number for dinner. I do believe that other thread made it seem like there are a lot of bad tables and I don't think this is true. There are going to be some tables better than others but you have to remember it is a large dinning room and most of the tables are in good positions. Once you are taken to your table on the first evening if you really do not like it, then ask to speak to the Head Server and request a different table if available. Also, remember that just because your table is in an undisreable position in one restaurant does not mean it will be so in all the restaurants. Hope this helps.

January for our May cruise mostly just because I like to have it done and have time to "shop around" for the best pricing.

Our last trip to WDW we used your ride for all our needs and they did a really good job for us. They were helpful and easy to work with and reasonable rates. We had a bunch of different scenarios to take care of and they did every single one of them without any hassles.

This year in May we have decided to splurge and get a Limo to take us to the Port and back to the Airport. We are going to use Your ride again for a 1 way from the Airport to POR. We got a Limo from Southern Elegance Limousines for a total of 5 of us for $250.00 plus tip. The 1 way from your ride to POR is $50.00 so for $300.00 we get transportation. Also most of the transportation companies will give you a 15 min complimentary grocery stop on the way to the port to buy soda, water, alcohol or whatever. The limo company we are using (even called Florida BBB) will also give us complimentary soda and water, a dvd movie for the kids, the grocery stop, a booster seat for our 5 year old and we could pick a character (we chose Mickey of course) as a "ride along" character to go with us in the limo.
