I will being taking my family to 1900 Park Fare in June and will be ordering the slipper dessert for my girls. How far in advance do you order them?

We ordered two months in advance thru our concierge team when doing the PS reservation.I later ordered another Mickey with tux strawberries and was told that they need 1-2 days for preparations so U could order when you're there.

I ordered the slipper dessert at Cindy's last December. I left a message on a voice mail only a few days prior to eating there and received a message back that it was set. It was very convenient.

Can you tell me about the slipper dessert? We're eating at Cindy's and my daughter might like this one.

Do you have to eat these at specific locations? And how much are they?

Any Stitch-related desserts out there?!

You can only order them if you are eating at a Grand Floridian restaurant and have them there or at CRT. I think you can also get them delivered to your room if you are staying at the Grand Floridian.

Okay. I'm not eating at GF, but I am eating at CRT. So I'd just call reservations and tell them I want to order it? DD is going to be 15 right after our trip and is planning to wear her tiara the night we eat at CRT. Might be a fun surprise to celebrate her birthday early.

yes, hope someone answers this question- please

any Stitch-related desserts?

does anyone have a picture of the Mickey tux one?

Mickey with tux strawberries is another dessert they do at GF bakery. Unfortunately, I don't know how to post pictures on the web so I can't show U what it looks like. It's basically a mickey mouse made of white chacolate standing amongst some chocolate coated strawberries, made to look like they're wearing tuxedoes. We were staying in GF and ordered room service for the Mickey dessert, had the slippers delivered to Park fare when we dined there. As for stitch, I know they don't do it at GF because I asked.Try asking at Ohana's, as they have the Stitch character there for breakfast.

I emailed WDW to ask them if they do any Stitch-desserts :rotfl:

It would make my friend's year if they did....

Interestingly enough the food network just last night had a contest aired that was a disney world pastry contest and a form of this dessert was submitted in the contest. It was slightly different but the slipper was them main component. Interestingly the judges actually did not like the slipper since they didnt think it looked "glass" enough. I cant remember if this dessert was made by the team who won or not. If you wanted to lay down $14 (is it worth it, my DD is 3?) can you order it at the Gala feast that is a buffet?

The CRT slipper looks a little different than the slipper from the GF. It comes with some angel food cake. At the GF, it comes with a chocolate boat filled with moose.

At the GF it's $14 and at CRT it was $10.50 but of course, that could change. It's not covered under the dining plan.

48 hours is all they need for notice. For the GF you order through the GF main number and ask for the bakery. For CRT, you need to call and get the CRT phone number.

Below is our Chocolate Mickey ordered from BWV; the GF one looks very similar:

At which restaurants can you order that Mickey w/strawberries? And, if you don't mind my asking, how much was it? Thanks!

I ordered mine through in room dining at the Boardwalk Villas. I know it is also available at the GF bakery. That's all I know.

It was $50 but varies on whether you get the strawberries or not and the statue alone was being sold at the GF this past December for $18 in the Gingerbread house. I think the statue alone at Boardwalk was $25.

Now the question is, does the slipper and mickey tux actually taste good? Is it solid white chocolate?
