How far in advance should I order from Garden Grocer?

I read an old thread that said sometimes they book up. We are going in mid-August.
 
I ordered a couple of weeks ago for a July 12 trip. :)
 
We ran into that problem last year. We tried ordering 2 weeks prior and they were booked and could not deliver. I would give yourself at least 4 weeks...get an order in. I'm sure you could always add od deduct but at least you would be scheduled...
 
You could order now, that way you know it's taken care of. I emailed them a few months ago asking when they prefer to get orders and they encouraged me to do it then. We will be at SSR on Monday. I just looked last night to confirm what I ordered, so we are set to go!
 

I ordered about 2 mo in advance - I remember last time I had ordered, they were booked my day and I had to wait another day for the food. I think Sundays are busiest for them, but not sure.
 
We ordered one month in advance and didn't have any problems, except that the Mountain Dew was missing from our order. The bellmen stored the groceries in the BWV fridge because we were away when the items came, the worker at garden grocer said sometimes the Mountain Dew has a tendency to disappear when the bellmen store it for you! (WDW only carries Coke brands)
 
We are staying in a studio where the fridge is a bit small. We had hoped to be able to re-order during our stay. It sounds like that might be a problem.
Anyone have experience with re-orders during a stay.

I ordered about a month ahead for my upcoming trip. The sales person from garden grocer said I could add to the order if I figured out other items I needed later on....I can't remember if it was something like 3 days before I left was the latest I could add to my order. Just thought that might help you. They are very helpful, so I would recommend calling or emailing with any questions or concerns. Good luck!

Oh that's a very good point. We will be staying in a studio too. I wonder if I could just scheduele two orders a few days apart?
