How far in advance should I book the Hyatt at MCO?

We will be staying at the Hyatt our first night prior to checking into our resort, I found that my dh can get a great goverment rate. How far in advance should we book?

the Hyatt is a BIG hotel. so pretty sure you have plenty of time.

of course they (like Disney) only put aside a certain number of rooms with the discount.

so as sure as you know your plans - I would make the reservation.

I think I will go ahead and book today as the goverment rate is $99.00 I can also get a refund up to 24 hours prior to arrival, so not really much to lose by booking this far in advance.

If they let you book without actually charging you or if you can get a full refund if you cancel within week or so, might as well go for it.

Since we landed at midnight a few weeks ago, I originally booked a cheap motel room with free shuttle for our first night. However, 2 weeks prior to going, I checked hotwire and when it listed a 4 star hotel in the airport vicinity for $89, I had to jump on it. Lucky for me it was the Hyatt and the total cost was only $106 after taxes. I cancelled my cheap motel room immediately...

I went ahead and booked since the rate was $111.00 after taxes We land at 9:45pm so it will be nice to check in and get a good night sleep so we can catch Magical Express bright and early and be able to hit the parks asap!
