We just returned from a great vacation a couple of weeks ago! I really want to do a repeat trip next year, and would love to get a discount at the Hard Rock. Anyone know how far in advance they take reservations?

I'm wondering the same thing, because I plan on making reservations for Hard Rock Hotel for July 2002, and I want to make them as soon as possible.

We are going in June 2002 and I already have my reservations. I believe they fill up pretty fast because when I called back and tried to add another night to my garden view room, they were totally booked. I ended up having to get a pool view room for all the nights I wanted. ;) Right now I am booked paying rack rates. I keep checking every couple of weeks to see when ent. rates will be released. They keep saying Sept. or Oct. I certainly want one of those rates!

Anyway, my advice to you would be to go ahead and make your reservtion. Don't wait too long or you may not get what you want.

Wow! Already booked for June, 2002??!! That's amazing!! Do you happen to know if they billed your credit card for the whole time you were staying or only one night's deposit? Thanks for the info!!!

They only billed me for one night's stay. I got my confirmation in the mail about 3 weeks later. I like taking it out and looking at it. It makes me feel better.;)

Only 11 more months to go! :) :) :)

disneyhottie made ressies today (7-7-01) for july 26,01.that is just 2 weeks away!i just recieved my entertainment book yesterday in the mail.just a word of caution, when you call to get price quotes and you think it is a great price, take it!i got a price quote of 117.00 per night ,garden view.waited 2 hours to confirm with family, called back,no more rooms at that price!!!
did give me a pool and beach view for 129.00 for 5 people, includes rollaway.thats a good deal.any questions??

Hi disneyhottie,
You may want to double check on your roll-away bed. I called today to request one for my last night of stay and they told me they were now an extra $25.00 per night. They said it started on July 1 of this year. Just an FYI.

hi kim (that is also my sisters name)
i was told that did include the rollaway and also had to pay for the first night.the only thing i am not happy with is having to pay for parking.5.00 per night.i wonder when disney will catch on and follow suit? also got a great deal at disneys beach club, but dont know if i can mention it on this sight??

see ya disneyhottie
13 days and counting!!!!!

Just a question. If you make reservations at the rack rate and then the hotel is booked, can you changes these reservations to the EC rate when it comes out? I was under the impression that the EC rate was only offered when the hotel had a less than 80% occupancy when you book(or change to the rate when its available) I have gotten conflicting suggestion when I called about booking with the 2002 rate. One reservationist says to wait until they are published while another says to book now and try changing later. I can't afford to stay there without the reduced rate so what should I do?

Wow disneyhottie, that is a GREAT rate! I sure hope when the ent. rates come out for 2002 I can get something like that. I didn't know they charge for each night of parking. That sounds like a rip-off!

Mom23guys2,
From what the CRO told me when I called and asked about ent. rates for HRH is that they already have those rooms on hold. They will release them sometime this fall. They said it didn't matter how full the hotel was, they always release ent. rates. I'm not sure what you should do. If you can't stay there w/o the ent. rates, you may want to book somewhere that you can afford to stay and keep trying to get the ent. rates when they come out. If you do manage to get a great rate, cancel your other ressie. If you don't, then you've already got somewhere to stay. Just a thought.......

I booked my stay for HRH hotel in March and we are going in Nov. of this year. They told me that the roll away bed was not an additional charge. Can they change the rules now, even though I already have it booked?
