How far in advance do you have to book the family suites?

I've called Disney several times hoping someone would cancel but no luck. I'm surprised they were booked up considering there are 214 suites. Am I missing something? Is the first week in February going to be busy?

I really do not have an answer for you, but I have ours booked for Sept. 2008 already. I think more people are using these with parties of 5 or more. Two rooms and 2 bathrooms sound great to us.

The suites book up early. I booked a 2 bedroom suite at the GF in Aug 2004 for a Dec 2006 trip. Called back a month later to change it to a different resort with no luck. From what I was told they start booking 500 days out of your arrival date. Keep calling people do cancel all the time. Good luck

Family suites are in high demand so call asap

I agree, call as soon as you can. To the OP, keep trying, people do cancel all the time - especially at the 45 day mark. (If you're willing to keep trying that long, maybe have other rooms booked just in case it doesn't work out.)

For what it's worth, we booked 2 family suites for this December at less than 90 days out.

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep trying and see what happens. We're currently booked at the Doubletree DTD which we love so not a problem if it doesn't work out. I just wanted to try something new and having two bathrooms would be nice. I hate that I have to give all my information over and over again when I just want to check availability. It's a little time consuming. So I only call once a week.

For the "value" season does anyone know if it's still $169 (rack rate)?

I think the 2008 rate is $181 or $184.
