how far in advance do I have to add on the DDP and price increases ?

So we are DVC and can add on the DDP without tickets but I didn't know if I had to do it by a certain time, like 30 days, 1 week, etc. I have looked and looked and can't find the answer. Also if I add it now for our February trip and the price increases in say January, do I pay the new price?

With a dvc reservation, you can add the dining plan up to 48 hours in advance. Regular reservations have to add it at least 72 hours in advance. The price you pay is the price when you add it. Dvc prices, however, only change annually, regardless of mid-year price increases.
