How far in advance can you get tickets and reserve animal experiences at Sea World?

Hi there! DH and I are doing a 9-day stay at WDW in February and are planning a trip to Sea World. I've not been there in more than 20 years. I did my 180-day ADRs this morning, which made me wonder how soon I can purchase GA tix and animal tours. Right now on line, there is no schedule beyond December. I am highly interested in the penguin encounter, and want to make sure I book on time so I don't miss out. If anyone had done a behind-the-scenes animal experience, I'd love to hear about it!

I'm not certain about your question, but I would suggest waiting until Black friday to purchase your passes; every year seaworld has a BOGO for annual passes that weekend, and other specials too, such as BOGOHO on dining reservations and front of the line passes. Most tours don't sell out until the day of, so you should be fine no matter when you decide to book.

I agree with the previous poster. You an often snag some great admission offers on Black Friday, so its worth holding off to purchase your tickets until late November if you can. If you are like me, you prefer to cross all the big things (like park tickets) off the planning list as soon as you can, but that said.....if you can manage the wait, it may just net you a decent savings.

If you are not comfortable holding off until the Black Friday offers are released, then they currently have a single day ticket on the website for $69 per person, or a single day + all-day dining ticket for $89. For both of those offers, you must purchase by September 5th but have one full year from date of purchase to use the tickets.

We did the Behind the Scenes Tour in May, which featured interaction with the Magellanic penguins and the opportunity to touch small sharks. It was a fantastic value and we all loved it. You can read about it here (lots of pics, too):

I would expect the early-2017 tours to be bookable around mid-October or early November.
