How far from baggage to Alamo car rental?

Just wondering how far we have to haul our baggage to the Alamo Car Rental. We are flying with Northwest.....

We always rent a cart in baggage claim, $3. You have to go down one level and walk to Alamo's counter. Then the cars are across the street in the garage.

I don't know what side northwest is on, but for Continental we had to go down 1 floor, cross the street, then go up a floor to where National/Alamo is. There are 2 car rental garages.

You could also get the luggage and then have one person wait curbside while the other gets the car. This can be hard with kids. And the person getting the car should be one who can navigate the airport roads alone! I wouldn't let my husband do it!

It is the same procedure on both sides of the airport. Down one floor to the counter, across the street and up one floor in the garage.

On B side, National/Alamo's cars are on the ground level of the garage. On A side, they are up one level.

I never knew that DebbieB, I guess we've always come in B side. Yes luggage pick up is the floor above the car rental counters. Personnally my husband gets the car, and I get the luggage and he comes up and meets me, unless we do National EA and we both get the luggage and ggggooooo! (Our best record is 40 minutes from pulling into the gate and being on Disney property.)

Opps, Debbie, my mistake!!! We usually come in the A side.
I would like the cars to be on the first floor here also as each time we have used National the elevator has been broken and it is a true pain to heft that luggage up the escaltor, which was also broken, (it took us three trips).

Anyone know where LM car rental is located at the orlando international airport? We are flying in from Toronto and want to know which rental company would be most connvenient.

They are all in a row on floor down from baggage pickup. I don't know exactly where L&M is and I would not use them on a bet.

If you do a search for Orlando International Airport, they have a very nice site with a floor map. Perhaps that would help.
