How far from Alamo drop off to HOJO

Our first day we are headed to Legoland and renting a car for the day. We get the car in the airport and then want to drop it off at DTD. How far is the walk from the drop off to HOJO?

Also, we won't be there until 7pm or so...do we just drop off the keys and the car if it's after closing time?

The Alamo car rental office is close to the DL Hotel which is the opposite side of the plaza and DTD to where HOJOs is. I would drop off the family at the hotel and then one adult can take it over to the drop off and walk back, probably a 15 minute walk through DTD, the plaza and then over to HOJOs. I am not sure about drop off after hours, hopefully someone else can help you with that.

I dont believe you can drop off after closing. We actually dropped it off the next morning without an additional cost. We drove over, dropped it off and walked through DTD to the park.

Hmmm...I called Alamo directly and they said we could drop off after hours...but it did take her a long time to come up with this answer. Perhaps she was wrong? I really don't want to drop it off in the morning...I want to get to the parks ASAP

We weren't allowed to drop off after hours. I would check with this Alamo location directly and see if something has changed or if we were told wrong. It is very small and doesn't have its own parking lot. You drop the car off in a parking lot that is an open lot for DTD and the hotels.
