So, as a Disney regular, I know that fast pass really means that you'll get on the ride in 5 or ten minutes....sometimes 20 in the case of Soarin.
What's the usual wait time with Express Pass? Is there one, or does it depend on crowds....

Advertised no more than 15 minutes, but it is normally less than that. Also depending on time of year it's walk on no wait for most rides.

Anywhere from walk on to 20 mins..At slower times of year ,almost no wait.Busy times Christmas week 15-20mins max.

I can tell you that it was VERY express this past weekend. We did not have passes, but observed others, and they seemd to walk on...

one VERY kind guy working the entrance to Mummy sent us in the express, because it was my daughters birthday! it was a very cool surprise.....we litterally walked on while the regular line was 30 min.

I see you got a sprinkling of mummy dust...excellent!

Maybe it has to do with the times I have went, but I've never waited more than 10 mins with express. I think the longest was around 10 mins for Ripsaw falls. A few 10 min waits for the Hulk but that's because you rejoin the regular line. For everything else I usually walk right on or wait for a few mins.

express lines waits are advertised as under 20 minutes.
that is UO's goal.

many times you have very little wait.
depends on the date you do the park.

i have had some 20 minute waits but they are the rarity.

I am most excited that we are staying onside and will have them. We will be there during spring break and the crowds are anticipated to be very bad. I detest the stress of trying to get my kids moving fast all the time and carefully planned touring plans. Thanks to the express passes I feel like we will be able to take it all in without stressing over it.

Oh you will enjoy it more I`m sure. And the hotels are just lovely :thumbsup2

Having Express Pass makes it such a relaxing way to do the parks........we never plan anything in all the days we are there....go with the flow.

I hope you and your family have a lovely time :wave2:

Last week was very express for the DH and I - walked on to most rides Thursday, Friday and Saturday - mind you compared to our WDW experience we did wonder where all the people were! Even Forbidden journey - while posted 45 min was more like 30 only

I think that the only thing you will need to plan is a meal at Mythos....
