How exciting is FEA for 7 year old girl

DD7 LOVES Frozen, so naturally I scheduled fast passes for all of us for our first Epcot day. None of us have ridden it before. I decided to add another Epcot day and scheduled Soarin for some of us and Test Track for the rest. We will be able to do rider swap (have a toddler) so everyone who wants to can ride each then. We will probably decide to completely avoid long standby lines that have a height requirement as I'd prefer not to have the party separated for super long times, so unless we encounter a short line for Soarin or Test Track, we'd be unlikely to ride them again.

Well, I've since scheduled the FEA dessert party so we will have a ride on FEA after that the first Epcot day. I'm wondering if I should switch the FEA fast pass to half-party Soarin, half Test Track so we can have a chance to ride those on both days. DD7 has never been, but I'm sure Soarin and Test Track will become two favorites of hers and everyone else (except the toddler) will love them as well.

So, I'm trying to figure out if FEA is something that a Frozen-obsessed 7 year old would find fun enough to necessitate keeping the FEA fast pass so she can ride it twice in one day, or if I should swap for Soarin and Test Track so we can do those both Epcot days since we will be able to ride FEA once through the dessert party. For the record, she does love Frozen, but she also loves thrill rides.
What did your 7 year olds (give or take a couple years) think of FEA?

As a general strategy, I think keeping FEA would be better to guarantee a ride (in case it goes down), especially if the child Loves Frozen.
With the 3rd theater, Soarin is a bit more likely to have reasonable standby waits and/or be a 4th FP+ option.

Keep frozen as she'll probably love it and want multiple rides. With Soarin having an extra theater open now, it's not impossible to get it as a 4th FP.

Also in terms of lines.. Frozen will likely hover around 60-150 min, Soarin can still have long waits but it also drops down to around 30 min. So Soarin standby could be an option

I agree with this. Keep the Frozen FP. I think she will enjoy it enough to ride it twice, and it's hard to get as an additional FP. Plus, splitting up for rider swap can get old, so take advantage of being able to enjoy this ride together twice.

Try to schedule your FP early and try for 4th/5th FP for TT and Soarin'. TT is doable, especially if you look in groups of two-- get overlapping times if you need more than two-- and Soarin' is fairly easy to get. And keep checking. People cancel FP all the time, so new FP show up all the time. If you're going on an evening EMH day, the 4th FP are harder to get, just FYI. And if you're going during F&W, it may be harder too, but I have no experience with that.

We went to Soarin' in June, and it was a walk on despite a 30 minute posted wait at around 7 pm. If it's raining, though, the waits will get long because TT will be down and everyone heads there instead.

Don't stress-- you'll have a great time, and there's never enough time to do everything, so go with the flow and enjoy what you do!

If she's obsessed with Frozen, she'll love the ride.

FEA is a sub 20 minute wait for the first 2 hours of every morning, so it's easy to do it standby....over and over if you want.

Another way to do it is keep a soaring or test track and if she really wants frozen again, you can ask to use the fast pass on frozen because DD was scared of test track, isn't feeling that well and can't do the motion ride etc. It of course depends on the cast member, but I've had to do that a couple of times when I ran into problems with a somewhat sick child that couldn't ride star tours, didn't quite make a height requirement etc. Never had a problem.

At age 7, I do think FEA would've been a must-do for my girls so I might be tempted to keep your original FP plus use the party FP too. I know all kids are different, but I know my girls would've wanted FEA more than once each trip.

I would keep the FEA FP for sure. I would do it just to make sure I got a decent ride pic, not blocked by the person in front of me holding up their hand on the drop lol (speaking from experience). My 17 year old loves it so I'm sure a 7 year old Frozen obsessed child would love to ride it twice.

Thank you, everyone! I appreciate all of the advice. I don't think she would be the least bit frightened of the drop (granted, I haven't ridden it to know how big it is), but she isn't one to get scared easily. I would only need fast passes for Soarin and Test Track for 2 people to get our group of 5 and a toddler on with rider swap, so it's good to know that it's sometimes feasible to get 4th fast passes for smaller parties and to see shorter standby waits. Our first Epcot day there's no EMH, the second I think has it in the morning and is also the first day of F&W. We do have hoppers though, so we could always hop over to ride things on other days too.

Question: I've gotten a bit confused with all of the fast pass changes... If I start the day at DHS for instance and use my 4 fast passes there, can I then look for and schedule a 4th fast pass for Epcot for later that day while I'm still in DHS or do I have to actually be in Epcot to do that?

You can do it via app, but I wouldn't expect any of the tier 1 attractions to be available.
