How early to arrive for “dinner” at Leaky Cauldron/3 Broomsticks?

We skipped these last time due to long waits and would like to do them on our trip 12/18-23.

Would a 4pm arrival for “dinner” help with the wait? Or it doesn’t matter, we will have a wait no matter what?

Weekdays will naturally be lighter although that’ll be a busy week. We had an early dinner at Leaky Cauldron a few Sundays ago… I think around 3:30 and walked right in. Waited a little bit for a register to order but not bad at all. TM directed us to which register then after ordering we were guided to a table. In our experience, Saturdays are busiest.

We went later, like 7:30 or 8 and walked right in, no wait.
Pretty much every other time we checked, the line was out the door.
