I know this question has probably been asked a gazillion times before but would appreciate someone to double check me!

I will be traveling from Pop to MCO on a Saturday 10am flight, using Mears Connect. Presumably, Mears Connect would pick me up around 6-6:30am?

I am not planning on checking a bag and also have TSA precheck.

How risky is it for me to put in a flight number that leaves at 11am so that pick-up would be scheduled around 7-7:30am?

The shuttle train that runs between TSA and the gates at MCO is down to one train, so it's taking longer to go between the terminal and the gate area- or at least, that was out experience 1/12/26 and 1/16/26. Don't cut it too close.

Is that for every airline?

If it affected my gates, I'd say 2 hours, even with no bags and precheck. If it didn't, I'd say 90 minutes should suffice.

Yes… it’s any airline that departs out of A/B, it requires the APM.
According to MCO's website, they're just working on the ones connecting Airside 2 & 4 (gates 70-129). https://flymco.com/elevatingmco/current-projects/gatelink-replacement-gates-70-129/.

WESH says they're working on Airside 2 (Gates 100-129). https://www.wesh.com/article/mco-modernization-project/69660254

Airside 1 & 3 were done less than 10 years ago.

And, OP could be departing Terminal C, which isn't affected.

Thanks all! Looks like my flight is likely to be affected by the work being done on the shuttle train, I'll aim to arrive at MCO by 8am so 7am pickup.

A lot of travelers plan their pickup so they arrive at MCO about 2 hours before a domestic flight, which usually means leaving the resort around 2.5 hours before departure. That extra buffer helps account for traffic and airport congestion and keeps things low-stress.

This is correct. It is only Airside 2 at the moment, which is primarily Southwest gates.
