If it is something as time sensitive as Fantasmic reservations I would call Disney dining before the 60 days and confirm when they open with them as opposed to relying on us here.
I would also check and then double-check (with another CM) the exact day you can call based on your desired reservation date. I heard of one otherwise savvy person who thought she was calling 60 days in advance only to find out it was 59 and she was one day too late to get her reservation. I think it was adding up days over months with different number of days in each month that tripped her up.
Finally, I would try to get reservations earlier in your trip rather than later so if you are not successful on the reservation you have the most additional chances to get one.
I doublechecked when I made my last PS on Friday. My Fantasmic booking is due in exactly 15 days, and when it's about reservations I am sooooo overplanning.
Ok, this was making me crazy - I just called the Dining line (they are closed right now) and the recording says they open at 7AM Pacific time. I just called the booking number for Fantasmic ((714) 781-4400) and for them, that recording says 8AM Pacific time.
I would call at 7am, because it seems that others have gotten their reservations that early?? Perhaps you can beat the crowd who calls at 8? Even if you can't get through, at least you have the number all dialed in and ready for your one-button push redial.
Okay, I called this morning. My phone said it was 8am, the recording I got said they opened at 8am. I called three times, on the 4th time they finally answered. So for Fantasmic PS it is 8 am.
