Hi,
We are going on a Disney Cruise in August. Our Air Canada flight home from MCO to Toronto doesn't leave until 9pm-ish. Since we will be at the airport in the morning (probably by 9:30am),we are wondering if we will be able to check our luggage when we arrive at MCO and then head over to Universal to see the new Harry Potter Diagon Alley. Will we be able to check our luggage that early for an evening flight? Any issues that we should be aware of?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

No they won't let u check in your luggage that early... The earliest I've seen is 3 hours Before the flight. The airport also doesn't have a place to store it due to security concerns.

Thanks for letting me know, keaster! Too bad...thought it would be a good way to pass time and see the new Harry Potter attractions at the same time. Oh well.

Thanks again!

From what i've been reading I doubt you'd be able to see much of the new attractions in August anyway ( i think that's what your ticker says??) Some people are mentioning that they are at the gates by 6:30 and still spending HOURS in line. :crazy2: I would hate to spend the money (quite expensive for 1 day since you'll need a "park-to-park" pass to see all the new stuff) just to stand in lines in Florida summer weather!

If you're thinking that the airport might be boring for the whole day, the Hilton in the Airport has "day rates" that will give you full use of a room, pool etc for around $100.00 That is what i would suggest :thumbsup2

This just gives you more reason to plan another trip NEXT year :rotfl2:

Yes, I was thinking of the day pass at the Hyatt too and will probably go thar route. But good point about the lines...didn't realize they were that bad! Thanks for letting me know! I was kind of worried about squishing everything in and still leaving enough time to get back to the airport in time. Relaxing at the Hyatt seems like the perfect solution! Thanks again!l
