My DH and I will be flying in late Friday night and then staying off site for that night. We would like to get to the parks early Saturday morning to enjoy a full day in the parks.

How early does RP offer check in? Is there somewhere we can stash our luggage? Can we at least get out tickets and FOTL access stuff?

Thanks.....trying to figure out what time to tell the driver to pick us up!

We checked in as early as 8A one trip...the room was not ready but they did store our luggage with no problems! WE checked back after touring the parks and having lunch around 1P and the room was ready! Yes you can get your tickets that early too. Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks!

We will probably check in that early as well. We will be too excited to sleep in that morning!

Yah, can't wait to go!

When I booked HRH they told me we could check in from 7am to get our FOTL passes. They will hold the luggage and the rooms are available from 4pm.

Can you also park your car at the hotel that early? Or do you need to park in the main lot until you actually have your room?

Great strategy Mzmickey. Finally, someone else who understands that getting to the park early counts.

Can anybody answer my question? Barry?
I'm going in January and I am doing the same as mzmickey: Arriving very late Friday due to kids school that day. So, I'll stay at the Comfort Suites Friday night, but I want to be at HRH at 7AM Saturday to pre-check. I know I can get my FOTL and all that early. But, can I park in the lot at HRH that early? Or do I have to park in the main lot and move the car later? This will make quite a difference in our planning for that morning.

If you check in early, you can enter the HRH parking lot early. At HRH and RPH, the parking guy in the booth will give you a ticket. To get in and out of the hotel, use your room keys once you get them. At PBH, you need to get a parking ticket from the machine and then use your keys to get in and out.

Yep, pre-checking in is smart. Did it once at 7:15.... got magic key-cards, parked car, and headed into CityWalk for much needed coffee.
Nothing much happening there till 8am tho.
Might wanna have some already, or grab it at HRH.

Glad to see I am not the only one that is too excited to sleep that first morning!

This will be our first trip to Universal and I know that DH is just ecstatic. We'll be heading for the Hulk first thing, that is why I chose RPH, closer to IOA where I think we'll be spending most of our time!

Thanks for the great info, load off my mind. Now I just wonder how early the driver can pick us up?????? One more thing to check off my list!

Thanks so much all. Although we have been to UO several times, we have never stayed on site there (just at the Mouse house). Really looking forward to it.

What about the end of your stay? How long can you use your magic card? And the parking lot?

If you are staying one night, does that give you 2 days FOTL access and 2 days in the parking lot?

Werner

Yes it does Werner! (any kin to Pete Werner?)
You're even entitled to use the pools on the day of check-out. I think the key-card opens the back pool gate (HRH,anyway) up until 6 PM. You can get a permission card for use of the Fitness Center for showers & such also. They're very accomodating.
Use it for ride Express till parks' closing.

Jim,
Werner is the first name. quite common in german speaking countries. And there is also the same family name, but not very common.
