How early can I check in?

In Sept. 2006, we are planning to arrive late to the ASmovie resort then check in early the next morning to the Poly and hit the parks. Does anyone know how early we can arrive at the Poly for check in? I know they may not open our room until early afternoon, but I was wondering if there was any limit on when I could just hit the check in desk? Any experiences doing this?

you can hit the check in desk anytime. we usually fly in a 9:30 am and hve never had a problem checking in and leaving luggage. this year we are checking into all star and moving over to beach club. disney will move our luggage for us we plan on leaving all star for epcot and then head over to beach club mid afternoon to check in and they told us our luggage would be in our room waiting. but basically you can check in anytime you want.

As soon as you get to resort,if room is not ready you can put laggage in storage and head for the parks.They will give you phone number and you can call back and check to see if your room is ready.

Are you saying that if you check in to your all star movie, you don't have to check in at beach club? How does that work. It sounds great!!

no you do have to check in at check in counter, but if you let them know at check in at all star that you will be transfering to different hotel they will move your luggage so you just need to take yourself and family to other hotel.
