I booked a breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:30 on a 9:00 opening day at MK. Hoping to get in line to meet Anna and Elsa immediately after. If we arrive at say 7:45, what is the likelihood we will be seated early? Not sure how CP does their seating as we have never been there.

Thank you!

I hope this will work because its almost my plan lol. I dont want A&E but we have an 8:30 also and are hoping to be seated early

Are you staying onsite (i.e. eligible for Early Magic Hours)? If not, apparently they will only let you in the park about 10 minutes before your reservation time.

If you can get in the park (i.e. resort guest), they will likely seat you early.

In the past when we went, in took over an hour for the four characters to make it round the room to get all their pictures and autographs. And then more time it get a bill settled.

Is this new? We've had early ADRs in MK several times, and they let us in well before the reservation time. I think once was about thirty minutes before. Once was a little over that.

This is the answer I was just given for this same question..,,so I could be wrong. I think it may depend on if there are EMH and if you qualify. But this was just what I was told, not personal experience

I've tried to check in early at a few different restaurants and I was told to come back 15 minutes before my check in time. Sometimes they don't let you check in early. I'm not sure how they handle it at CP though.

The odds of getting seated early at the Crystal Palace are slim. They are almost always running behind with seatings, even early on. I count on being seated there late.

I have learned when it's busy or if we don't want to hang around to ask for the bill when we are seated and just explain to the server it's so we don't have to rush him/her when we need to leave. They are always great about it.

I agree. That is what we do, esp when my son was younger and his "waiting" wouldn't last that long. We would get our drinks and the bill at the same time.

Thank you for all the info. I think we will just try it and see what happens. I will definitely ask for the bill right away. I keep trying for an earlier reservation, but just can't get one.

I understand checking in, but will they let you in the park early? Really want the photos in front of the castle with no crowds:)

Yes, if you have a pre-opening ADR, they will let you into the park around 7:45 (regardless of whether you are staying onsite or not).

And OP, you should be fine to get a table earlier if you check in early. I checked in for my 8:20 ADR at 7:55 and was seated by 8:05 (this was just a couple of weeks ago). Everyone in that first half-hour is the first seating, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks for that! You shouldn't have a problem getting in early, they stagger times to allow the servers to accommodate all:)

Hmm I wonder how early they will let us in with our ADR at 905am. That is the earliest I can get all week for my stay in September. Was hoping to get a couple of castle shots with my family.

If your day IS NOT a EMH day, they should let you in ahead of the opening show, in July it starts at 8:40, not sure about September, I would be there no later than 8:20-30 earlier is better, you never know.

We ALWAYS avoid early CP on EMH days, its of no value
