How does this work?

I have a ADR for Tusker house at 8 :35 on Sept. 14. The park does not open until 9:00. How does this work with the park being closed and also we will be at the WL. What time do you think we should catch the bus in the morning to make sure we will be there in time? Thanks

1) They let you in 10-15 minuted before your ADR time.
2) Leave the resort no later than 40-min before ADR time.
3) However, add at least 15-min to that, in case you miss the next bus.

I would try to be out waiting for the bus by 7:15-7:30. There is a CM waiting at the entrance to the park with all the ADR's. I never had a problem checking in 30 mins plus from our ADR at any park pre-opening. It's nice to get there early and get some pictures without many people in the way.

Park busses start running one hour before park opening.

There is usually an "early" bus for character meals that starts between 7:00 & 7:30. Just ask at the front desk when you check in. Also, at the bus depot there is typically a CM waiting for the first few busses and seeing if all is running smoothly. Tell that person you are trying to get to AK for an early character breakfast and they will help you watch for the correct bus.
