How does this work (tickets question)?

We bought park hoppers from AAA. We are using DVC points to stay onsite. Can we take our paper tickets to the front desk at our hotel and have them transfer the tickets onto our room keys so we have just one key to look after?

Also, if we upgrade our tickets (from a 4 day to a 6 day), can we do that at any time, meaning before we actually use them OR after we have used a day on them? We purchased them in advance (obviously), so if we upgrade them on-site, we won't be upgrading at the advanced purchase price, right?

I am very interested in the answer to this ... as I am about to buy tix through a program at my company. I was wondering the same thing.
