How does the time schedule work for Disney transportation from PC to MCO Airport?

We are getting our Covid tests done at the airport and we want to get to the airport as early as we possibly can. We have purchased the ground transfers from port to the airport and I don’t know how early they depart? Can anybody tell me how that works? I need to try to book an early test but I also need to be sure I’ll get there in time. Thanks everybody!

Is this for Port Canaveral to MCO?

In the past, buses to the airport left as soon as they were full. That may be different now.

If they are still doing this, the best way to get on the first bus is to do express walk-off. Do not put your luggage out the night before, keep it in your stateroom. The ship will usually be cleared for disembark about 7:30 and you should be ready to go. After you clear C&I, you will be directed to the airport bus.

There are DCL buses leaving the port continuously to go to the airport. As soon as one bus is filled, it takes off. So the quicker you disembark from the ship, the quicker you'll get to the airport. It doesn't tend to take long for buses to fill, because the airport is probably the most common post-cruise destination for travelers. DCL is the most efficient method of transport to the airport (except having your own car waiting in the garage) for this reason. You don't have to worry about or wait for a set pick-up time.

FYI....I was at MCO 12/12/21 and the line for covid testing being done at MCO was a nightmare. it almost stretched the length of the hall that connects the A and B terminal.

I would not do it to try and "save time"

We were in the second seating breakfast group (8:15 a.m. start) and were one of the first groups to finish and leave the ship. We had to also find our bags, go through customs, hop on a DCL bus, and wait for the DCL bus to acutally run. When we arrived at MCO, we also had to wait for our luggage to be unloaded, find a Smart Carte to transport the bags, and check in our bags. We didn't get to the TSA check-in line until about 11:20 a.m. Adjust accordingly if you've got an express walkoff or a first seating breakfast group.

I wonder if they were walk-ups or had appointments? I was going to have an appointment booked.

I do not know.....but I do know there were not enough "workers" for all the people wanting to get tested. It was crazy.
