How does Superbowl Sunday impact crowds?

I'll be at WDW over the Superbowl weekend, and I have a fantasy that it may mean smaller crowds, at least during the game itself. Am I dreaming, or will there in fact be smaller crowds on Superbowl Sunday?

One year we were watching the Superbowl in our resort bar and we were the only family there. So, I would say it makes hardly any noticeable difference at all.

We were at MK during the game last year. It wasn’t empty but it certainly wasn’t overly crowded either. Keep in mind though that the park likely will not stay open very late. I’m pretty sure it closed around 9 last year if memory serves.

Agree its not a factor. For everybody that is glued in front of a TV for the game, there is somebody that just wants to get away from it.

We were there last few years and completely agree, no impact at all. Now Mardi Gras... different story!
