First of all, I'm envious of all of you for being able to run that far (especially while being at WDW)! I want to train for 2007, but I just don't know how to get over the 6 mile (10K) mark. Can anyone point me to a website or a training plan that can show me how to break the plateau?
Also, this may be a dumb question since it's Florida, but is the marathon route fairly level? I live in a very hilly part of NH so I could possibly run farther if I didn't have to tackle the hills.
How long did it take for you to be able to accomplish this distance? I'm assuming giving myself a year to accomplish the additional 7 miles is a realistic goal. What other exercise did you do along with running so that you don't just use one certain set of muscles?
