We are leaving soon and booked a last minture trip.
DD is 3 but is a late nighter, and we plan to do more nafternoon, night type stuff, as she sleeps in late usually.
We leave March 2nd ~ the 7th.

Mar.2 ~fly out of Detroit, arrive in Orlando at 4:05
take ME to Pop. Go to MK. Hoping to make the Spectro Magic parade and staying for EMH. get some Counter service to eat.

Mar.3~Epcot. After DD gets up we will head over there. May get lunch at POP before we go. Early dinner at Garden Grill (how is this by the way?) at 4:30. We'll see how we are doing and may stay for illuminations. Or if DD (or DH) gets bored with that park we may head over to the camp grounds sing along and camp fire. (thats a big maybe)

Mar 4~ AK, This is DH's least favorite. WE will probaly spend only a small amount of time there, hitting dinoland, since we didn't last year. and doing the parade. Probably head back to the resort for swimming after that. Wispering Canyon dinner at 8.

Mar5~ DHS, DH has never been to this, nor has DD. I have been a few times with my older children, but alot has changed I'm sure. just take our time seeing the shows and doing what ever pleases. We are going to Hoop Dee doo at 9:30 show.

Mar 6~ MK This is our favorite park. We will catch the afternoon parade, and most likely spend most of the day here. Now here is where I may have messed up. We have 8:30PM dinner at 1900 Park Fare, but the park closes at 7 (Princess and pirates that night). So if we stay till close, then we have an hour and half to get to GF. Should I see if I can switch it to 8? or even a bit earlier? I don't know exactly how long it will take us to get there and then if we will be fight traffic coming and going to and from the park. I have never been to GF, will it keep us occupied if we get there early ? (I don't want DH to get grumbly ) Now I have heard that you usually see some of the characters outside the resturant, so would getting there that early be beneficial?

Mar 7~ Our flight leaves at 4:35. Not sure how soon we have to leave for the airport, but I assume around 1. Depending how early DD gets up, ,aybe go hang out at DTD for a bit. Or do a last swim.

sounds like a busy but fun time. I would say though based on our experience. your arrival in Orlando at 4:05 you probably won't get to POP until closer to 6 pm, check in. Are you going into your room? If so then you are looking at leaving the resort 6:30-45, arriving at the park close to 7:15 till you get into the park another 10 minutes possible. Just to let you kno that it does take a while to get to the places, longer than if you drive. We have eaten at Garden Grill, 1900 park fare and Whispering canyon cafe and LOVE all 3 of them. You can always arrive a little early for your parkfare dinner, odds are you will get in sooner with a little wait.
Have fun.

I figure we'll be cutting it short on the first night. We were there the same week alst year and arrived at Sanford about 5 and after getting a rental and driving we were at the park (after waiting in a long bus line too) at 7 . The parade ahd jsut started. I was hoping that coming in an hour earlier and being at MCO instead we might be able to make it this year. We did see the parade another night last year though.

I did forget to add the 7th on my list, so I'll go edit that.

With MK closing at 7, I would move my ADR up a bit - probably up to 8 or 7:30 (figuring I would want to get out of the park before the craziness of the change over to P&PP).

Well after thinking it over, I have decided that On March 5 we will do MK that day. Wishes is at 8PM so then afterwards we can just head over to Hoop Dee Doo. (Is that going to be enough time or will it be crazy?) And then do Hollywoodstudios on the 6th. It closes at 7 that day, and we most likely won't be there till then. So we can freshen up and then head over to 1900 park fare. What's your opinions on that change?
