How does it work if you want to rent points from a member and have them deposited...

We are a few points short for our vacation this spring, and I would like to rent 10-20 points from someone, but I'd want them deposited in my account, as they'd have to go with the points I already have.

I have read the FAQ on the rent/trade board, but can't really see how the transaction actually works(my blonde self has probably missed it, though). Do you send a check and then they deposit the points? Do you give this person your member #?

'Course, I'd love to just add on a few.... but don't know if I could talk DH into it!!

Details of the transaction are completely between the parties involved. Make sure you are comfortable with any financial arrangement.

As for the transfer itself, some have accomplished it thru a 3-way phone call with MS.
