How does GRAND GATHERING work

We are renting points for our thanksgiving week vacation at BWV. We will have a total of 21 people 17 adults and 4 children. We will sometimes like to all eat together, would it be a good idea to have someone handle this for us, is that what grand gathering is about? Do restuarants do reservations for that many people?

You will need to call group dining for any reservations (407-939-7707). They will make reservations for your group but you will not be at one table (however the tables will be close to each other).

The Grand Gathering phone number will help you with your standard ADR's but if you want to do a special GG event then you will need to have the member you rented points from set up a GG # for you through MS. This takes about 3 - 5 days to do. Once you get that GG # you can book the special events too!

I went to the Walt Disney World website and in the search box put in grand gatherings - There is probably somewhere else also but I just started going through the things that were listed there.
