How does DDP work on check in day ?

Newbie to DDP.

When we arrive at POFQ in the AM , around 11 AM, our room most likely will not be ready - so no room key.

I assume DDP credits are attached onto your room key.

What if we want to eat lunch ? Do we pay OOP ?

I'm pretty sure they'll give you your room/dining card even if your room is not ready. That way, when you get there, you can go to the parks/eat while you're waiting for your room.

Yep, as soon as you check in your DDP credits are ready to use - even if you don't have your room number yet

You'll get the room key whether your room is ready or not. They'll give you a number to call so you can find out what your room number will be when the room is ready.

As soon as you get the room key, you can use it to spend DDP credits.
