How does after hours event work for regular park visitors?

Our MK day is on a villains night, which we won’t be attending. We obviously aren’t trying to stay for an event we didn’t pay for, I’m just curious how they work to clear the park in time for it to begin. Will we still be able to use the park freely until 10, or will they start cleaning it after the fireworks? It seems like such a tricky thing for them to facilitate...

From reports, they have CMs out at 10 actively looking for wristbands and ushering people without them to the exits. I’ve seen pictures of lines across pathways into lands - no wristband, no admittance and direction to the exit. (Ditto getting in line for a ride after 10pm. No wristband, no ride.

They are strict - as they should be since we are paying a premium for an exclusive experience.

They will check for wristbands for anything you try and do however if you are already in line for a ride when the park closes they allow you to ride like normal and then you have to leave.

They have gotten efficient at this. Right at closing, They basically set up several CMS across walkways in various places and you have to show them a wristband or they turn you in the other direction and send you towards the exit.

If you are not on mainstreet for the Fireworks, at every attraction, they are looking for wristbands and send you out without one. I've also seen CMs walking around looking for bands as well.
They have gotten much more efficient as they have more parties.
