make your doggie go outdoors to do her thing if the rain is pouring down in buckets........we are having torrential downpours and poor Megara does not want to go out.....I put a leash on her and held an umbrella over her this afternoon ..........but now the rains are heavier......In a few I will throw her in the back yard and have her DO IT OR ELSE......I can't do that really you know.... wishing for the sun for tomorrow

Oh when my dog was a puppy would not go outside to do his business when it was raining!! I remember standing outside in the rain trying to get him to "go". He would run under the porch and look at my like I was crazy for standing in the rain.

After a few months he quit being scared of the rain and now he actually loves to run around in the rain.

Dogs are so funny sometimes! aw: Sorry I don't have any advice...

Pouring here all day. My husband had to take the dogs out on a leash with an umbrella all day.

My poodle hates the rain as well. Today we had to lead him out and just sort of plop him on the porch. We wouldn't let him inside until he's done his business.

Thankfully he's small and we can carry him.

Actually, she might not mind the snow at all! My basenji's HATE HATE HATE water/rain and one of them will HOLD it forever! I can't make them go...even on a leash! But, they don't mind the snow (except that it's cold). They will play in it and everything!

Hope the rains have slowed down where you are...they're still calling for some here for the rest of the week...we got 8.62 inches of rain yesterday!!
