I have the fuji s5100 which normally takes great pictures but for some reason when I take pictures of my tree they are always blurry! What am I doing wrong? I have tried auto, manual and other settings but something isn't working. THe night more makes it too bright. I use a tripod...But still blurry pictures! What setting should I have it on?

Blurry pictures are a caused by camera movement or subject movement combined with a slow shutter speed. If you are using a tripod and still getting blurry pictures it is probably from you pushing the shutter button. If you have a timer option on the shutter, use that to take the picture.

I used the timer. it seems like the camera can't find anything to focus on. If I pull back and have some of the fire place in the picture it is fine.
