A little girl was here yesterday and she pushed her chair across our floor and now there are scuff marks. I tried scrubbing the floor with fantastic, but that didn't work. Any ideas? TIA :goodvibes

The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a miracle worker for this! Just wet it, squeeze it out, and use the white side of the sponge. You can use the blue side for tough stuff - but the white side really works on scuffs!

A dryer sheet works wonders!

Another vote for Magic Eraser, love those things!

SOS pads work also, but if it's a shiny floor it may take away the shine if you scrub too hard, so be careful. :)

Have you tried using your sock and toe, DRY. I know when we get those black scuff marks that some shoes make I can remove them easily with just my toe (with a sock on). A plain old pencil eraser will take them off too but you have to do it dry!

That's the easiest! It even takes it off of hard wood floors.

Simple Green! Removes all those nasty black marks, even off the inside of your car door where your shoes sometimes hit....

Another endorsement for the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It is a wonder.

I am another one who just rubs the mark with my stocking feet. It really works. I remember years ago when my stepmother and my dad were taking care of my son for a week. When I got back, they told me they had to go buy new shoes for my son because his shoes were marking up their floor. My stepmom was very upset, said she had tried EVERYTHING to remove the marks, but nothing worked. I kicked off my shoe and walked around rubbing the marks with my toe, and the marks were gone. I thought my stepmom was going to cry because she had been fussing with it for a week!

Toothpaste! It's cheap, usually always on hand and makes your floor smell minty fresh to boot! :rotfl2:
