How do you remind yourself about what you need from the Supermarket?

I use Alexa- its very easy because my daughter can just add things using Alexa and I can see what she added while I am shopping -

So does Cozi... but it doesn't keep a tally of what I am spending which is very important to me. I need something that does that, but the only thing that makes it easy is pen and paper so far.

Ahh, I misunderstood what you were trying to keep track of. :)

*sigh* You are so stubborn on this point, lol. Everyone I know who uses a cellphone on the regular makes sure they are always topped up. They have chargers on their nightstands, plug them into their computers, carry portable battery packs, use battery cases, can stop at just about any store and pick up any of those things. I use my phone for music and navigation while I'm driving and while I'm driving my phone is charging. I cannot remember the last time I killed the battery on my phone. 2011 maybe? Before the batteries were as efficient as they are now and the ability to charge just about any place/time you could possibly think of existed.
LOL. Not stubborn. I just work in an industry overrun by technology and this is just another day in my life. Dead cell phone battery...or camera battery....or laptop battery....or live truck battery.

I use Alexa (Amazon Echo). I just say, out loud, what I want to add to the list and it gets added. Then I can just look at my list on my phone while I'm at the store.
This is what I am doing too. Of course I have to remember to tell Alexa, then I have to remember to pull up the app when I get to the store.

We've done different things over the years. Currently, we just write things n a dry erase board on the fridge. Then on shopping day I just take a pic of the list. If the list is really big then I'll write it d Wn on paper to be able to put it in order by aisle.

We use Alexa! Really like that we can all add to the list and access it quickly. Just a word of caution. Make sure you clearly say peanuts, otherwise, you'll get something completely different on your list!:worship:

I seem to always forget something. But of course, I typically don't write anything down until I'm about to leave out the house. I need a better system
Leave a tablet in the kitchen, to me a tablet means paper not a computer. And write down what you need as the week goes along. Then take the piece of paper. Very easy. People have been doing that for decades. LOL

My partner and I use the Wunderlist app and have a shared list called 'Food Shopping'. As it's a shared list, we can both add to and tick off items that we need or have brought.

My big problem is staying with the list on my phone. After I have completed the list, I do wander around and just see stuff I want and throw it in the cart :rotfl2:

My favorite grocery store has a Click List system. You purchase on the internet and it adds up the prices as you add to your list. Then it shops for you and you pick up that day or the next. I use it quite often when I'm busy, but if I'm not using it, I still pretend I am and put everythign on the list, then I print it out and take it to the store with me (then empty the list online).

I use the Wegman's app on my phone. If I think of something I need, I just add it there. You can even scan the bar code on an item to add it to the list, so no typing required. It automatically organizes your list by aisle, so it's easy to just buzz through the store and pick everything up.

They have digital coupons, too. You "clip" the coupons in the app, and they get automatically applied when you scan your shopper's club tag at the checkout.

I love Wegmans.....love, love, love them. I never thought I'd *love* a grocery store until I walked into Wegmans for the first time 20 years ago. Our closest one is about a good 30 minute drive so I don't do my regular shopping there, but I do try to go at least once a month to stock up on things. We have really crappy grocery stores in our town and it pains me to shop at them. I'm hoping that Wegmans will build a store a little closer to where I live.

I keep a list...an actual paper list...and I use different color highlighter pens for certain items so I don't bypass the aisle they're in by mistake. Pink for meats, green for fresh fruit and veggies, and yellow for snacks like crackers and cookies. If I have a coupon for an item I draw a little star next to it so I don't forget. I'm on a budget and I keep track of my purchases with a calculator app on my phone. And #1 rule-I NEVER go to the market hungry, because I'm a sucker for throwing stuff I don't need into the cart when I am.
