How do you prepare your little ones for Disney?

Our daughter was about 23 months old when we went. I prepared her for the characters by sitting her on my lap and watching youtube videos of kids meeting the characters. Seeing how big they were really worked because she took to there characters right away. (YMMVof course!) Her cousin who is about 6 months older than her wouldn't even look at the characters, let alone interact with them, so I would say our method works! She is much more excited for our next trip now that she knows what she is going to see, only 10 more days!
