How do you plan your lunchtime ADR's?

So you are at the park- maybe you made RD or maybe you didnt- how many do you plan your lunch ADR? I feel like it will be difficult to leave the park during lunchtime (if not for myself than possibly for my DD) Any suggestions on how ppl plan this out, or work their schedules around this? Is it all about counter service during the day?

We've never left the park for a lunch ADR. Either a CS or TS in the park we are visiting.

I think leaving sounds better when planning than in reality.

Most of the lunch ADRs that I've done have fallen under 2 scenarios:

1) In the park.
2) In conjunction with park hopping (Hop from Park A to ADR Resort to Park B)

A third scenario is sleeping in late, but I don't do that all too often... at WDW.
