How do you pay the bills you charge on your Disney Visa?

* Charge everything to the DVR (credit)
* Pay any utilities that don't charge a fee via their own web site with the DVR.
* Pay the DVR in full every month from our checking account, either via DVR's site or via our bank's online banking.

In any case, nothing is done automatic. Paper statement still come in the mail. However alerts and reminders are set up for everything.

It is 1% I believe, so it would be $10. I pay my DVC loans every month with mine and everything I can. I don't know how they make money. I pay mine off everytime I use it. Love the rewards.

So, it is a percentage earned and not something like 2 rewards for every dollar in charges? I am also trying to charge all my bills on my Disney Visa and pay it all of each month so that I can earn reward dollars for our March 2011 trip.

I get at least 2% cash back on my citicard and often more depending on the purchase, so it looks like I should stick with that unless they up the rewards for the Disney visa.

I have bunches of cards and use whichever one I want the points for. For our upcoming FD trip I wanted the Disney rewards to pay for tips. But for many years I have charged everything -- even a $2 charge at Dunkin Donuts. I manage and monitor my charges online frequently and pay it off every month. I've now moved from Disney to Southwest to get free flights for my next vacation.

We live on our Disney Visa - everything gets charged to it. Every week or so, I go online and download the charges into my Quicken, then pay it off directly from our checking account - which is linked through the Disney Visa site. This way, we get rewards points for almost every penny we spend.

Ditto except I use YNAB (You need a Budget), just another type of software for managing money.
