How do you make mosquito bite swelling go down?

Well the title says it all....

See when I get mosquito bites they SWELL and I mean they swell REALLY REALLY BIG. I was out swimming last night till pretty late and basically got eaten alive. I have them all over my arms and there is a huge bite on my face. It looks like I fell and thats the swollen egg....but its just a bite.


Does anyone have any tips to make the swelling go down. I try not to itch the bites....but they look soooo ugly. (Especially the one on my face)

Yeah ice or pouring cold water right after really helps.

I think there's cream that helps it go down. I forget the name though.

the cream is calimine lotion i think but i use rubbing alochol to stop the itch

Yeah,i had one on my face,and i just let it heal by itself and it worked!!!!!
I was shocked!

Benadryl cream works great for me. (I got eaten alive last night too, I have 13 bites now, and I'm steadily finding more..)

you can also make a baking soda water mix and it stops the itching and takes out and possible bad stuff you got from the bite.

there is a cream called Cortizone or Cortizone 10. i also pop my mosquito bites and the stuff inside comes out. after u pop it, it looks a little ugly, but it turns into a scab and goes away in like 1-2 days :]

i was at some resturant and i put hot sauce on my mosquito bite. it stung for a minute and then stopped itching for good. so, now i put hot sauce on my mosquito bites. ha ha.

I believe there was commercial on tv that said Polysporin was good.
But I mean, that just me not knowing anything.
I don't even know what Poly is for.
