How do you make a theme park reservation when the AP expires before the date

Our AP always expires in October qnd we have renewed every year the past 8 years lol. We are planning a trip in November and just booked the hotel but can't book park bc our tickets will be "expired". We've never had this happen so can we renew today lol? When can we renew in order to get a park pass after the expiration date?

You could buy tickets now for the number of days you’ll need in November. Then upgrade your tickets to APs when you arrive.

You can renew now. We were there in April and got renewal vouchers at the ticket office in DS. We have a resort trip scheduled in January. You should be able to call in and renew. Be aware not all CMs know that you can renew early, so keep calling until you find one who does.

We bought tickets and plan to use the value of the tickets toward our renewals. You have to call to do this though.

Thanks, we have the same situation and online wouldn't let me renew early (which I knew it wouldn't).

We had to do this, we had May 2021 expiration date but needed to make Oct 1, 2021 park reservations. We bought standard park tickets and when we were able to renew in April, they allowed us to apply the cost of our tickets to the renewal. We did it in person at HS.
