How do you like your LG french door fridge?

Hope you like it! I love the design of my LG French door fridge. It's just over 3 years old and I probably wouldn't buy another LG - I have a terrible problem with cold spots in mine. We have the temperature controls on the door and no matter what temp it is set at, things seem to freeze. I've had to throw out a lot of stuff from the deli and veggie drawers. We also received a check for $136 from a class action suit involving several LG models. I think I may have gotten a bad fridge because everyone else loves theirs! Good Luck with yours!

we have had our LG french door refrigerator for just under 4 years now. I love the design of it. Love having the refrig up top.

However I will never buy an LG refrigerator again. 13 months after having the refrigerator our refrig stop cooling. Happened multiple times. We would have to unplug the refrig for the night -- ice was building up in the wall of the refrigerator. THank goodness we had a super cold winter and was able to store our stuff out on the 3 season porch.

We called a LG to see if they would cover it since it was 1 month out of warrenty. THey refused to cover it bc we purchased it at a Sears outlet. Yes we saved $700 on the refrigerator but that should not prevent it from being covered. It was a scratch and dent. Sears would not touch it bc we did not purchase an extended warrenty.

When I called our local repair place - they said LG are horrible and even worse it trying to get the parts to repair them. I trust them -- we have used them in the past. well the part needed was a $600 part. It took a week for it to come in. We currently have a warrenty on that part from the repair place.

We also have a shelf that cracked-- the one that holds the bins. One of these days the bin is going to fall off. Ours is without the water dispenser. We do have an ice maker but we dont' have it hooked up.

That has been our experience w/ LG refrigerators..... We do own a LG frontloader washer-- LOVE it. Got it for a steal at Best Buy. WE also own a LG
plasma TV. We have only had it for less than a year but we did purchase an extended warrenty on it.

The space we have for the refrigerator limits us on our chooses. Hopefully our refrigerator keeps on going for a few more year.
