How do you ladies carry your smartphones in the parks?

I am stuck carrying a diaper bag (backpack) but I know that I'll need to access my phone multiple times for MDE. I would rather have easy access to it. Have any of you used the waterproof lanyards for the theme parks rather than the water parks? What about the cross-body cell phone bags? Ideally, I could access my screen without having to take it out of the bag. What have you all found that you like?

I've got one of the drawstring Disney bags that has the outside velcro cellphone pocket. Very easy to access the phone. Can you dump the diaper backpack and bring supplies in a smaller bag with a cellphone pocket?

I put mine in the front pocket of my backpack. There's a cell phone pocket in that compartment and I don't think it's ever taken me more than 30 seconds to get it out if I needed it.

We don't have children so I don't need a big bag. I get a Bagallini for trips where I'll be doing stuff where I need a waterproof purse. I bought this one for this trip - fits my phone, thin wallet, small mirror, small sunscreen for face, kleenex, keys and lip gloss! (and gum)

I used to use a Vera Bradley mini hipster/little hipster, but I bought an all-in-one crossbody at the VVB store in DS, and I think it's my new favorite. It has both a wrist strap and a crossbody strap, with an outside flap pocket for a phone (I have an iPhone 6), and two zippered sections - one with card/ID slots and one with a zippered coin section and two other sections. I only wish it came in one of the Disney prints!

My back pocket or DH's shorts if I'm not throwing it in the front pocket of my purse.

I just put it in a pocket. In hot weather I wear women's cargo shorts and the cargo pocket on the side is big enough for my iPhone. If cool enough for a jacket I use a pocket of that. I really don't worry about it getting wet. Never had a problem with it in a pocket when it rains or when riding Splash Mountain. For Kali I would probably throw it in my sling bag, which has some water resistance, but have never worried about having a ziplock or waterproof bag with me.

I've used a crossbody bag the last few years but honestly it annoys the heck out of me. This trip we are paring down and I think I will utilize my DH's cargo short pocket. I'll bring a bag to use if it doesn't work, but that's my plan.

No kids, so I go bagless, or with a tiny wristlet that fits my phone and in a dress pocket.

I'm have the wrong body parts for this question but I wanted to mention to strongly consider not getting a lanyard for a phone. It's too easy to get caught on something or someone on disney and can cause harm. Any lanywards disney has, has a breakaway on it somewhere so if it does get caught, it'll come right off your neck with minimal damage. you don't want your phone easily coming off and breaking like that.

I carry my phone in my pocket. I do have a child yet still prefer to go bagless so that's not an option. If it doesn't fit in one of the pockets of my shorts/capris, then DH carries it for me.

Zippered back pocket of my LL Bean "Comfort Trail Shorts." My cell fits in a back pocket (turn it sideways/horizontal when sitting on rides). I highly recommend these shorts for bagless park people b/c they have 3 zippered pockets and 2 regular pockets. (My zippered pockets hold: AP/ccard/little cash/ID in a front lower zippered pocket; paper schedule on index card in regular pocket; cell phone in a back zipper pocket; advil in ziploc and/or tiny folded disposable rain poncho in other back pocket.) They also make Comfort Trail long pants.
